Legacy Nitro Funny Cars Welcomes Associate Sponsor Maxima Racing Oils

With the Legacy Nitro Funny Car Series having kicked off its 11-race series at this past weekend’s fabled Good Vibrations March Meet at Famoso Raceway, the series is proud to welcome Maxima Racing Oils as an associate sponsor for the entire 2026 season.

Legacy Nitro Funny Cars continue to build momentum with its high-speed competition, compelling aesthetics, and engaging personalities drawing the interest of fans across the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series and select NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series they attend. They are a featured attraction in the 75th anniversary of the National Hot Rod Association which is being celebrated throughout the season. The 2026 Legacy Nitro Funny Car Series launched from the starting line on March 5-8 at nostalgia drag racing’s signature event in Bakersfield, Calif., and will share a stage with the Professional teams at the upcoming FMP Arizona Nationals presented by NGK Spark Plugs at Firebird Motorsports Park March 20-22.

“Maxima Racing Oils is proud to be a part of the Legacy Nitro Funny Car Series for 2026 and beyond,” said Troy Green, Midwest Business Development for Maxima Racing Oils. “This series is putting these cars and teams on a stage that was only dreamed about at one time. Showcasing them at select NHRA national events provides excellent exposure for sponsors, and we feel fortunate to be a part of it. The feedback and response from the Nitro Funny Car teams who have already made the switch to Maxima Racing Oils has been overwhelmingly positive and it falls right in line with our Objective – provide a superior product at a price that keeps racers on the track and fans in the stands!”

Headquartered in Southern California, Maxima Racing Oils provides lubricants to world-class racers who challenge the limits of possibility. The demands of the supercharged, nitromethane-fueled engines that power the cars in the Legacy Nitro Funny Car Series require the superior technology that Maxima Racing Oils is committed to in its line of high performance oils, lubes, and ancillary products To learn more about Maxima Racing Oils, visit www.maximausa.com and follow @maximausa across their social media platforms.
