Starting a house pad for a friend of mine from high school. Didn’t get a lot done today mostly moving equipment and discovering we had some bad ground where the pad is going. There is great red clay all around except for where the house is going lol! I started digging all the soft material out with the excavator in the dark of course. So now I will finish digging the mud out and then we will start backfilling and compacting the clay. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #housepad

Cool
Who needs a bigger trailer you have a Chevy just hook two trailers together that way you can haul both machines lol
Love a good muckshift nice job plenty of power in takeuchi awesome bit of kit I'm operating 2 different machines as I'm on hire 3.5 t cat wich is awful machine and 8 t hyundai witch is not much better but it has a heated seat lol
If you know the truck already just have them drive 7 hours towards Missouri and you drive the other 7 hours or so and meet half way make the deal and take the truck home.
Don't forget to bring temp. tags with you & Ins.!!!
That looks like it’s going to be a nice job to work on nobody’s trash to clean up before you start, seems you are picking up some better jobs than what you were doing, good for you , nice job buddy looking forward to the next one
More ELITE work continuing into the night! I see Jason was watching you from his office – does he follow you everywhere?
Congrats on the 10000 subs. Keep up the great videos
Looks like fun! When I was grading and excavating for my shop, I ended up hitting a spring that was running water about the size of 2 thumbs, it never came to the surface but at the back corner of where my shop is, it was in the shale, I ended up digging down and extra couple feet and running drainage line around and out into the pasture, it runs year round. I moved dirt with my old skid steer and a rented Kubota excavator for about 2 1/2 weeks including the driveway. Still have a huge pile I''m trying to give away!!! 😀
Have Jason bring that trailer… he’ll get a chance to worry Bigdeal18… and you can have him haul his office back with him!!!
Man, that place looks familiar… LOL
Digginok could do it with one machine 😉
Why didn’t the backhoe do everything? Why they need you? Assuming because of your quality of work and the backhoe operator couldn’t match it?
Nice little bit bigger project! With the addition of a bigger truck can we expect bigger project in the future?? Doing awesome job Brandon
Brandon you doing it wrong you supposed to put crap back in stump hole. Seen guy's do that then want to know why didn't pass compaction. Good job
Went to job hauling in dirt. I didn't clear but when we came back with next round of dirt. All the stumps were gone. He dug hole in house pad and put stumps in. Then homeowner said my dirt wasn't good pure yellow sand. I told homeowner I believe he put stumps under house. So got my Deere 550 and started pushing and 23 pine stumps in house pad. So he fired him and I finished job. Told him I don't work cheap he said wanted it right. There is always why others can do it cheaper. He found out the hard way
good job, very happy for bigger things 2020 you earned it.
Congratulations! 10000!
Who's grave did you dig? lol
Nice video
Nice working
Good video, looking forward to the updates on this project.
Gotta love them backup beepers
Best of both worlds on this one. Digging in the dark and in rocky soil. How do you get so lucky? Cant wait for the next video in the series.
Great video Brandon!
Cool to see a job site that has nice material for you to work with for a change. The side by side view of your excavator working along with that Deere backhoe shows how much more efficient you are with your machine and the night work shots were superb as well. Enjoy your weekend, work safe, great to chat on Friday while you were working this job!
Doug@ the "ranch"
Silly question…why not just use the backhoe to dig the stumps and push everything off?
Going to a tandem axle truck and a 20 ton trailer Brandon?
Nice job Brandon. I enjoy getting away from utilities and building some pads. It breaks up the monotony.
Brandon
Look up Rampant trailers on the Internet there in North Carolina
919-365-55111.
I just got in a 30 ft 50, 000lbs triple axle tandem with airbrakes new $20,000. Best prices I’ve found for new trailers and they deliver.

When is the new dump truck coming
You do a lot of new homes?
Are you having any issues with the new tb260 and how do you like the new emission system on excavator?
Hey Brandon, how many hours do you have on your 260? Also I am looking for a new excavator, Kubota is 5 miles from my shop and Takeuchi is 2 hours away. Since your a Tak guy would you still buy a Takeuchi or Kubota. I value your opinion.
can't wait to see what kind of rig you end up with after the new year. always impressed with the power of that machine. seems to handle those stumps really well.
You're not getting Jason's old trailer, are you? Hey, CONGRATULATIONS on 10K subs! Well deserved! You'll be at 50K in no time! Still looked like pretty good work for 1 day to me! Thanks for the video!
Working in your shadow makes it hard to see what you are doing.
Brandon, do you price your jobs lump sum or just give a per hour rate and Track your time ?
