  1. Step drill on that throttle pedal….you want that cable end to pivot in the hole…..tack weld would put stress on the cable every time you accelerate…..$0.02

  2. Opening a straight hole with a tapered burr and welding a bracket on head stud nuts? In what world does that make sense? Step away from the tools………

  3. Slightly confused about how that firewall will stop fuel, oil, or Hot coolant from spraying all over Jolene!? You have a very high risk of lines blowing…

  5. If you are going to fire it up, next thing you will want to drive it "just a little bit". That drive axle needs to be welded in or it will turn in the U bolts and damage the propshaft!!

  6. That little clip you are using for the throttle cable is made like that for a purpose. Drill a hole at the end of the plate, slot it and slide the clip onto the plate. Drill another hole to mount onto the carb manifold. Easy peasy when u use a drill. OK to Weld onto frame, but not motor, brakes etc.

  7. Your soldering just needed more heat. The tip of the blue flame is the hottest part, but to fill that gap with melted solder perhaps MAPP gas as one guy suggested might work better. And wrap a wet rag around the other end of the fitting of course, so it won't unsolder.

  8. Hello chad . Just watching you try to fire the old car up.. youneed a new set of plugs .and not pump the throttle so much well turning it over ..

  9. With all the work both of you are putting into the gasser, it would be nice to grind down the body wields and paint the car. Even if you make it look relict?
Thanks keep up the good work, You are truly an inspiration. Thanks

  10. OK. ANYONE SEE THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. Hint. Fire goes through holes when there is wind blowing through them. Like a whole shitload of blowtorches.
