I met Lavon last year at ucc, super great guy and willing to talk with new enthusiasts. The whole firepunk team are excellent guys. Highly recommend going to ucc. Keep up the good videos
Lynn is right about the UCC Superflow dyno having a nice heavy amount of inertia. When Chris ran on it and made 2568hp, we could tell it was a different kinda thing compared to the Mustang he ran on the night before. The 2568 was on a lower tune and literally only a small amount of spray. This is when we had an idea that things were a little more than we originally thought on the power level. Lynn is also right that drivetrain parts can go directions you dont want them to 😂 We cranked the tune up for Weekend on the Edge a month later. We went to tune 5, added more spray and changed to fast spooling triples. I think we got a bit carried away because it ate through the drivetrain and only made 900hp! It wasnt tire slippage either. We found there is a fine line between glory and total embarrassment. Explosive spooling chargers and aggressive nitrous will blow right through converters and clutches. Finally, when Chris went to ATC, we talked about making a conservative run and small nitrous to put a number on the board. After it made 2440, our plan was to go to tune 5, twin turbos (not triples) and bring the spray in late in hopes it would hold. Luckily it held the hp, but the torque was lower than it should have been. We suspect it was letting some of the torque out of the case😂 Good times are ahead 🙂

This is my first year going to UCC and it sounds like its going to be the best UCC event yet! I can't wait to see and meet all the big names in the industry!
