Eagle Field is a WWII airstrip originally used as a West Coast pilot training center. After being abandoned for decades it has become the hotspot for 1/8 mile, grassroots, nostalgia drag racing in California. You never know what kind of race cars you’ll see at Eagle Field.
I can only capture so much, you really have to see the variety in person. On Friday you’ll see heads-up, flag start, first to the finish line racing. Saturday and Sunday run off a christmas tree and end in bracket racing.
