Two-Time NHRA Champion Bo Butner and America’s Auto Auction Partner to Pursue Victory in 2026

With a full and clean bill of health following a victorious battle over cancer, Indiana-based Bo Butner is all in with a renewed commitment to NHRA’s Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Eager to get down to business, Butner is pleased to announce a major partnership with America’s Auto Auction/America’s Clark County for the remainder of 2026. The two-time world champion, with titles in both the Professional and Sportsman ranks, will proudly debut America’s Auto Auction patriotic branding on every race car he pilots beginning with the double-header at Beech Bend Raceway Park, Aug. 26-30.

“I’m really excited and honored to welcome America’s Auto Auction to the team,” said 34-time NHRA national event winner Butner, who is CEO of Jim Butner Auto Group in Clarksville, Indiana, and operates the dealership alongside his son, JB, and their family. The dealership was started by Butner’s father in 1955.

“It’s special to me to have their name on the cars that I’ll be racing this year, because I remember being a kid and going down to their auction in Ft. Myers, Fla., with my dad when they first started. At that time, they only had maybe 15 cars. It was an itty-bitty deal, just the beginning for America’s Auto Auction, and now to see how they’ve grown to have a ton of auctions nationwide and even some overseas – it’s really impressive.”

America’s Auto Auction (americasaa.com) is a full-service auction provider that facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles through physical sites across 26 states as well as via digital platforms. The company now also operates internationally with an expanding global presence. The America’s Auto Auction daily mission is to provide high-quality service and operational execution for dealers and institutional customers.

“Their business is a lot like how we operate at Jim Butner Auto Group; it’s really about helping people get what they want and need,” said Butner. “It’s a great partnership for us, and I think the best way to honor that will be to put America’s Auto Auction in the winner’s circle. It’s sure going to be a lot of fun trying.”

Butner, who races alongside wife Randi Lyn — the 2021 North Central Division Stock Eliminator champion — will head at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Ky., this weekend for the North Central Division event, the sixth of eight for the region, along with the highly anticipated JEGS SPORTSnationals. From there, the team will head right to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the biggest, most prestigious race on the NHRA tour — one Butner has won three times — the Cornwell Quality Tools U.S. Nationals.
