This week on The Wes Buck Show, we’ve got one of those lineups where you already know we’re probably not staying on schedule.
First up, Bill and Billy Hoskinson are in the house, fresh off a huge weekend at War at 304. These two have built one hell of a following by doing things their way. Bill has Old Man’s Garage, while Billy “The Kid” has turned Street Racing Channel into a monster, with hundreds of thousands of people following along for the racing, builds, no-prep madness, and everything in between. Billy was also a 2025 Drag Illustrated 30 Under 30 honoree, so you know we’re claiming at least a little credit for his success.
We’ll get the story behind War at 304, what went right, what went sideways, and what these two maniacs are cooking up next.
Then we’ve got Ned Dunphy, and buddy, this dude just got himself a 660 MAN.
Ned rolled into the PDRA Thunder Valley Throwdown at Bristol Dragway and came out with his first career PDRA Pro Boost victory. And he didn’t exactly get an easy one. He faced Lyle Barnett in the final, went .013 on the tree, and his 3.632 at 207.08 was enough to hold off Barnett’s quicker 3.627. That’s called getting it DONE when it matters.
First PDRA win. First 660 Man. And another chapter in what’s becoming a pretty damn cool story for Ned Dunphy.
Then we’re rounding this thing out with our longtime friend Tyler Crossnoe, Series Director of the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series and one of those guys it feels like we’ve known since he was about twelve years old.
Former DI 30 Under 30 standout. Racer. Promoter. Track guy. Series director. Tyler has basically grown up in this sport, and he’s always got something cooking. PDRA has been pushing hard on improving the racer and fan experience in 2026, and Tyler’s joining us to talk about some exciting new developments, including what’s happening on the ticketing side and what they’re building for the future.
