Pro Mod fans can now virtually race Steve King’s Gene Pilot-owned C7 Corvette Pro Mod, as the 2025 Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod winning car is now available in the No Limit Drag Racing 2.0 app. The hugely popular drag racing video game released the screw-blown “Savage” Corvette in the Prestige section of the app on Monday, allowing players to purchase the car to add to their collection in the game.
This is the third year No Limit Drag Racing 2.0 has featured WSOPM winners in the game. Spencer Hyde’s 2023 winning “Jack & The Green Stock” ’69 Camaro and Derek Ward’s 2024 winning ’68 Firebird are also available for purchase, each for $9.99. A portion of the funds raised go directly to each car’s team, adding yet another prize to the WSOPM winnings.
“Every year, No Limit Drag Racing 2.0 honors Drag Illustrated’s World Series of Pro Mod champion by adding their car to the game’s Prestige Section, and this year is no different,” said No Limit Drag Racing’s Paul Dunlop. “This year’s World Series of Pro Mod winner has officially been immortalized in No Limit—and just to prove he’s no fluke, Steve King came out SWINGING again this past weekend, taking the WIN at Cecil County’s Yellow Bullet Nationals!”
The unveiling of the digital “Savage” came less than 24 hours after King wheeled the Pilot Racing entry to the $25,000 Pro Mod win at Monty Mikho’s Yellow Bullet Nationals at Cecil County Dragway. King defeated No. 1 qualifier Jimmy Taylor in the final round to go back-to-back in big-money Pro Mod races at Cecil. He also won the $50,000 Pro Mod Invitational there in May 2024.
“Savage is officially released!” King said. “Go check out this cool A$$ game. These guys knocked it out of the park.”
