Speartech Fuel Injection Systems & Modern Racing Partner to Deliver Professional-Grade Wiring Solutions to Sportsman Racers

Speartech Fuel Injection Systems, Inc., the industry’s renowned LS and LT engine retrofit specialist, and Modern Racing, a leader in motorsport electronics and wiring solutions, have announced a strategic partnership focused on developing high-performance electrical systems for the underserved space between sportsman racers and top-tier professional race teams. While expanding into new motorsports-focused product offerings, Speartech remains fully committed to growing the industry-leading EFI conversion solutions, wiring systems, and customer support that its loyal customer base has relied on for decades.

By combining Speartech’s harness production capabilities with Modern Racing’s hands-on motorsports integration experience and trackside involvement with top-level racing teams, the partnership aims to deliver professional-grade reliability, serviceability, and performance to a broader range of racers and builders. Insights gained through Modern Racing’s real-world experience at the highest levels of competition will help drive the development of products and solutions tailored specifically to the needs of sportsman racers.

Historically, professional-level wiring and electronics systems have largely been limited to elite race teams due to cost, complexity, and accessibility. Speartech and Modern Racing aim to close that gap by developing solutions that offer professional-grade performance and reliability in packages better suited for sportsman racers, grassroots competitors, and high-end street/strip applications.

Through this partnership, both companies will collaborate closely on joint product development, validation testing, and consumer technical support.

“By combining Speartech’s ability to produce complex OEM style harness systems at scale with Modern Racing’s motorsport engineering and design experience, we’re creating wiring solutions that deliver professional-level performance while remaining accessible and user-friendly for sportsman racers and competitive enthusiasts alike,” said Modern Racing owner and founder Justin Elkes.

About Speartech Fuel Injection Systems, Inc.

Speartech Fuel Injection Systems was started by John Spears in 1997. Prior to founding the company, Spears spent 23 years at General Motors as an electrical systems engineer, with an emphasis on engine controls and ignition system development. This provided an unmatched understanding of electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems. Speartech has utilized this expertise to design standalone wiring harnesses and create swap-related electronic solutions for GM LS and LT engines.
