I’m pleased to welcome Sofía Roveda to the Draglist.com social media team as our new Marketing Intern.
With a background in Film & Television and recent studies in Public Relations, Sofía brings a strong storytelling perspective and a digital-first mindset to the team.
Over the next three months, she will work alongside Kay Therkelsen, John Bockelman, and me as we modernize and expand Draglist’s digital presence.
Her first major assignment is a significant one: migrating our extensive archive of Facebook LIVE shows to the Draglist YouTube channel. This includes optimizing each upload with updated titles, descriptions, and custom thumbnails aligned with current YouTube best practices.
Beyond the archive migration, Sofía will:
• Strategically repurpose select legacy interviews into YouTube Shorts and social media reels
• Support additional video uploads, including Kay’s live event content
• Help refine our overall digital packaging, positioning, and content consistency
Draglist.com has been around since 1996. We have decades of drag racing history captured in interviews, live streams, and original programming. It is time to make that content work smarter in today’s digital landscape.
We are excited to have Sofía’s perspective and energy as we bring this archive into the modern YouTube era.
