Pro Line Racing Engines has officially joined the Drag Illustrated Winter Series as a major partner, further solidifying its commitment to supporting drag racers around the world. Known for delivering high-performance engines, parts, and turnkey packages, Pro Line will use this platform as an opportunity to engage and support new and existing customers at each of the DI Winter Series events.
“As a whole, we believe in supporting the places our customers race, but the energy, enthusiasm and excitement around the DI Winter Series and the World Series of Pro Mod, as well as the movement in the industry, is off the charts,” said Eric Dillard, Co-Owner of Pro Line Racing Engines. “There’s no doubt these events are shaking up the drag racing community and our whole team is excited about being a part of it.”
Expanding upon this partnership, Pro Line Racing Engines is launching the “Off The Trailer” Bonus Program for the upcoming World Series of Pro Mod. During the opening round of Pro Mod qualifying, the driver who posts the lowest elapsed time and claims the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot will earn a $5,000 bonus courtesy of Pro Line.
“Wes [Buck], Vic [Alvarez] and I were talking on the phone, throwing out ideas about how we could add a little extra on top of the upcoming World Series of Pro Mod, but make it stand out and actually add a layer to the competition,” added Dillard. “Vic threw out a big bonus to whoever runs low E.T. in the first round of qualifying, to put some emphasis on that first shot, and here we are with the Pro Line Racing Engines Off The Trailer Bonus.”
“Eric, Doug [Patton] and the whole team at Pro Line are long-time friends of Drag Illustrated,” said Wes Buck, Founder and Editorial Director of Drag Illustrated. “I’ve known Eric since he made his debut in ORSCA small-tire racing almost two decades ago, so it’s great to see our brands aligned at this level, which has been part of our mission over the last several years as we’ve grown the events side of our operation. Everything we do is to grow and build the sport of drag racing for the betterment of everyone involved—from fans and racers to sponsors and manufacturers.”
Buck also emphasized how the Pro Line Racing Engines Off The Trailer Bonus will add even more excitement for fans. “It’s great to have partners like Pro Line helping us pour fuel on the fire, and that’s certainly what this $5,000 bounty for low qualifier in the first round of qualifying will do,” he said. “This is a group of competitors that need little in the way of motivation, but there’s no denying they respond well to it, and I expect to see a lot of guys shooting their shot early on Thursday.”
Pro Line Racing Engines has built a reputation as a global, top-tier provider of drag racing engines, parts, and software with a track record of championships, world records, and event wins on the biggest stages in motorsports. The company’s diverse team prides itself on a “can-do” attitude, thriving on complexity and challenges while helping customers achieve their goals, the first time, every time.
