Photo Review: 2024 PDRA Pro Stars

The PDRA rewarded its top points earners from the last four races of 2023 and first four of 2024 with invitations to race for big bucks at the Summit Racing Equipment Pro Stars event at Virginia Motorsports Park. An all-day rain on Friday washed out all track activities leaving only one test pass for all racers before the chip draw format began. Class winners are highlighted in photos by Dave Oakes

Dan Whetstine took out Dave Schalow in the AFCO Super Street final with a 4.64 when Schalow slowed.

Frank Falter IV held off Kellen Farmer’s 3.99 with a 3.89 for the Laris Insurance Elite Top Dragster win

Will Creasman ran a 4.46 in the Laris Insurance top dragster final for the win.

Tim Molnar laid a holeshot on Tim Paap and held on for a 3.84 – 3.82 win in Magnafuel Elite Top Sportsman

Ed Foley defeated Mike Alexander Jr in Magnafuel top sportsman

World Champ Victoria Beaner added a pro stars win in Classic Graphics top junior dragster

While going a lot slower than his top dragster, Ryan Harris defeated Ashley Franklin in Coolshirt Pro Jr Dragster
