Nearly 350 competitors invaded Summit Motorsports Park for the 4th annual Smokies Garage PDRA Red Line Oil Racing Series American Doorslammer Challenge presented by Callies. Ethan Steding took home his first event win in Menscer Motorsports Pro Street, singling in the final.
In only his 3rd race in Liberty Gears Extreme Pro Stock, Darryl Stewart defeated Chris Powers for the win.
“King Tut” Todd Tutterow returned to his winning ways in WS Construction Pro Boost when Marcus Birt went red.
Bruce Thrift singled for the MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman win when Kevin Brannon broke on the line.
Mike Alexander Jr’s beautiful Corvette won MagnaFuel Top Sportsman 48.
#1 qualifier Jim Halsey defeated Fredy Scriba 3.66 to 3.67 for the Switzer Dynamics Pro nitrous crown.
Conner McGee entered the winner’s circle for the first time in AFCO Super Street with a win over Dan Whetstine.
World Champ Johnny Pluchino led the extreme pro stock field with a 4.10 – 176.70 pass.
Walter Lannigan ruled Pro 632 as #1 qualifier and class winner over Amber Franklin.
Newcomer Brian Weddle led the pro street qualifying at 4.061 – 176.41.
The Drag 965 Pro Extreme Bike category went to Brunson Grothus by .003 over Chris Garner-Jones.
