“There’s just too much going on to make it fit in my schedule.”
Words that every promoter, racing series, or racetrack has heard at some point from a race fan or someone wanting to attend an event. The Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series is offering new ticketing specials for fans at the Pro Line Racing PDRA World Finals presented by ProCharger on September 17-20 at Virginia Motorsports Park to combat the busy lifestyles that everyone now is faced with.
Got work on Friday? Kid has a sporting event on Saturday morning? Have to attend church on Sunday morning?
Introducing the PDRA Fast Pass.
A single $30 admission ticket that covers your admission from Friday morning’s first qualifying session to Sunday evening’s final rounds. Come and go as you please, as often as you need to, throughout the entire weekend. Junior and Kid Fast Passes are also available at $15 and $10, respectively, making it a complete family-friendly, cost-effective weekend.
“Flexibility was the first thing that came to mind when we started talking about a ticketing special,” said Mark Beatty. “There’s so much going on in everyone’s lives but there’s also a big weekend of PDRA Drag Racing going on. We want everyone to have a chance to enjoy what is going on.”
The PDRA World Finals is also home to the Summit Racing Equipment ProStars presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. ProStars is the PDRA’s version of the all-star game. Drivers earned points beginning at the 2025 edition of the Thunder Valley Throwdown at Bristol and ended the standings there in 2026, just a few short weeks ago. The top eight drivers in all categories are set to compete in this free entry fee, big-money shootout that is held on Thursday, September 17, to kick off the World Finals festivities.

Thursday’s activities at the World Finals will feature two sessions of pre-race testing, driver introductions and the old school, Quick 8-style ProStars all-star race. A full day’s worth of activities and spectator admission for the entire day is free of charge – no parking fee, no admission fee at the door. Absolutely free.
“ProStars is a special event where it rewards the drivers who support the series the most. This all-star event was designed to gain points throughout the season, but you get just as many points for attendance as you do for winning the event in a four-round race. Giving back to the drivers and teams who have supported the series the most is one of our main goals in this program,” said Tyler Crossnoe. “With the support of Summit Racing Equipment, Laris Motorsports Insurance, Red Line Oil and other partners, it truly made sense to open the doors at no charge on Thursday evening for motorsports fans to come in and enjoy a night on us. You never know – you could introduce the sport to a new fan, or you could be helping out a long-time motorsports fan going through a hardship and doesn’t have the extra money to spend. ProStars was created to give back to the ones who support the most on the racer side – why not do the same exact thing for the fans who love racing just as much as anyone?”
PDRA has also entered into a new partnership with VetTix, a veteran focused non-profit that provides tickets to events to strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage first responders, service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. Their core values are set on patriotism, support and recognition, quality of life and family – all of which the PDRA and drag racing as a whole stands on across the country. VetTix verifies the service and our military service members then request tickets to events that interest them and pay a small delivery fee to receive their free tickets, which is nearing 40,000,000 tickets total that has been distributed to our military’s service men and women.
“We began this program at the PDRA Thunder Valley Throwdown in Bristol and really didn’t know what to expect,” said Crystal Corbin, PDRA business and ticketing manager. “All of the tickets that were donated were claimed and the early numbers for Drag Wars appear to be even larger. We would not be able to enjoy our sport and many other freedoms in the United States of America without the first responders and military that benefit from this partnership.”
The PDRA World Finals also features Night of Fire on Saturday featuring jet dragsters, a wheelstander, nostalgia funny cars and more, along with a live concert on Friday evening with local band Ladysmyth and a live DJ throughout the weekend to create a vibe off-track as exciting as the action on the track.
