Drag racing Hall-Of-Famer Kenny Youngblood will be in attendance at the 2026 NHRA U.S.
Nationals, in conjunction with a very special project – his involvement with Paul Lee Racing,
and a Youngblood-designed tribute wrap honoring one of drag racing’s superstars.
“I’m grateful to Paul for calling on me, with help from digital designer Greg Flowers, to create
this tribute wrap – the fans are really going to love it! The best part is that it’s a way for both
Paul and myself to say thank you to a drag racing legend who not only defined the sport in the
70s, but who helped us both in our careers,” says Youngblood, who was inducted into the Drag
Racing Hall of Fame by “Big Daddy” Don Garlits in 2014.
Kenny will not only be unveiling the iconic tribute, but signing and personalizing a limited
number of ‘Blood Did It CARtoons’ for fans in attendance at this 75 th Anniversary event.
Youngblood’s career spans more than five decades, beginning in the late 60’s, when his artistic
abilities combined with his love of motorsports set the standard for how race cars should look.
Kenny’s association with Lee also spans many years, as Paul called on Youngblood to design
the graphics for his first funny car. “This is going to be an emotional moment for me – this
tribute wrap has exceeded my expectations,” says Paul, who will be competing at the event in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
Fans are invited to stop by the Heritage display area at the U.S. Nationals to meet both Paul
and Kenny, and get an autographed drawing.
