Drag Illustrated is proud to announce that Monterey Watch Co., a USA-based timepiece and optics company, is returning as the Official Timepiece of the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod, Feb 27-March 1, at Bradenton Motorsports Park, Bradenton, FL. Monterey is the fastest-growing independent online timepiece retailer in the world.
Seven of Monterey’s Slipstream chronographs, along with a pair of high-performance Castaways polarized sunglasses, will be awarded to the winners of the seven elite classes at this event.
The 2025 race marks the sixth version of the World Series of Pro Mod, and Monterey’s President, Tim Hermes, said, “What goes better with racing than the art of timing? We are excited to be a part of this signature event and wish all racers the best of luck and three days of fast, and safe, racing.”
Monterey was the first timepiece to partner with the World Series of Pro Mod in 2024 with its coveted Blacktip automatic wristwatch. In 2025, Monterey makes a nod to racing heritage with its meca-quartz hybrid Slipstream chronograph, along with their Castaways polarized sunglasses from Monterey Optics.
“It gets bright in the pits in the Florida sun,” said Hermes.
