Veteran NHRA racer Mike Coughlin will pilot the Green Genie Mountain Motor Pro Stock Camaro for Camrie Caruso Motorsports at the legendary Night Under Fire event August 1 at Summit Motorsports Park.
Coughlin, a longtime standout in NHRA competition, will climb behind the wheel of the fan-favorite Green Genie entry as part of one of drag racing’s biggest events. The appearance brings together one of the sport’s most experienced drivers with one of Mountain Motor Pro Stock’s most recognizable cars.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to drive the Green Genie Mountain Motor Pro Stock car with Camrie Caruso Motorsports at Night Under Fire,” Coughlin said. “It’s one of the biggest events in drag racing, and I appreciate Camrie and the entire team for giving me the chance to be part of it. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and put on a great show for the fans.”
The Green Genie Camaro has become a familiar sight in Mountain Motor Pro Stock competition, and Night Under Fire provides the perfect stage for Coughlin’s return to five-speed racing in front of one of the largest crowds in motorsports.

Coughlin has earned victories in five different NHRA categories, including six wins in Pro Stock Truck, four in Top Sportsman, three in Super Comp, one in Top Dragster, and most recently three wins in Top Alcohol Dragster. His experience with manual-transmission race cars makes him a natural fit for the Mountain Motor Pro Stock machine.
