Elite Motorsports’ Jeg Coughlin Jr. and Erica Enders Ready to Light Up Night Under Fire in Norwalk

Elite Motorsports Pro Stock stars Jeg Coughlin Jr. and Erica Enders are set to participate in this weekend’s highly anticipated Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The fan-favorite event draws tens of thousands of spectators and is known for its thrilling racing, vibrant atmosphere, and spectacular post-race fireworks.

Six-time Pro Stock world champion Erica Enders and her Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage / Melling Performance / SCAG Power Equipment team are no strangers to Norwalk’s electric atmosphere. Enders has won the NHRA National event at the facility three times in 2014 and back-to-back in 2021 and 2022.

“We are looking forward to heading back to Norwalk, as it’s one of my favorite places to race,” Enders said. “From hospitality to racetrack condition, the Bader family always knocks it out of the park. We can’t wait to make some passes in front of the great fans, and I’m thrilled to see the firework show everyone is talking about. It should be a great weekend.”

For Jeg Coughlin Jr., a five-time Pro Stock world champion and driver of the SCAG Power Equipment / Outlaw Light Beer machine, Night Under Fire is hosted in his backyard. The Ohio native is looking forward to his first appearance at the famous event.

“This will be my first time racing in the Night Under Fire, and I must say I am very excited,” Jeg Jr. said. “I have watched this event from afar for years, and to see the action, racing, and post-race fireworks with over 40,000 people is so impressive. I was talking with Bill Bader Jr. at our NHRA event and couldn’t be prouder to help represent the Pro Stock contingent.”

While in a two-week break from NHRA competition, Night Under Fire offers both Enders and Jeg Jr. a chance to fine-tune their machines and entertain a massive crowd while representing Elite Motorsports and their partners. With the Bader family’s renowned hospitality and a world-class racing surface awaiting, Jeg Jr. and Enders are poised to deliver a memorable performance at Summit Motorsports Park.

The Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire is a two-day event beginning Friday, August 1st at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park. Enders and Jeg Jr. will hit the track Saturday, August 2nd and make two runs around noon and 3 p.m.
