The Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service is officially underway, and the Pro Mod points standings have been published following the thrilling kickoff event at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
With an electrifying 32-car field, the quickest in eighth-mile Pro Modified history, racers earned points for tech-in, qualifying positions, and race day results, setting the stage for an intense three-event competition.
Currently leading the points standings is Kye Kelley, who earned 645 points with a strong performance at the Snowbirds. Close behind are Ken Quartuccio with 554 points and Mark Micke with 457 points. These drivers are setting the pace as the series heads to the next event.
Race Director Gavin Carter shared his excitement about the event’s success and the series’ momentum.
“In regards to the points, Kye is sitting at the top after his win at Snowbirds, but keep an eye out for some of the heavy hitters that didn’t have the opening weekend they were hoping for,” said Carter. “There’s bound to be some movement at the top over the course of the next two races, and it’s going to get interesting.”
Drivers will continue to battle for points at the upcoming U.S. Street Nationals (USSN) presented by M&M Transmission before the series culminates at the World Series of Pro Mod (WSOPM), crowning the first-ever Drag Illustrated Winter Series champion.
“The Snowbird Outlaw Nationals were everything we envisioned and more,” said Wes Buck, Drag Illustrated founder and Winter Series promoter. “To see the quickest Pro Mod field in eighth-mile history and the level of competition this series is drawing is a testament to the incredible talent of these drivers and the energy of this community. We’ve got an epic battle ahead, and we’re just getting started.”

“To say we’re pleased and happy with how the first race of the Winter Series turned out would be an understatement,” said Carter. “We had such a great group of racers with some of the best side-by-side racing anyone has seen in quite some time.”
The Drag Illustrated Winter Series points structure rewards racers for their performance across all stages of competition, ensuring every moment counts. With the historic start at Bradenton, fans can expect even more action at the USSN and the WSOPM.
“One thing that everyone needs to keep in mind is that while USSN is a normal points event, WSOPM is worth 1.5 points, so that definitely keeps the door open for guys that missed Snowbirds to make a run at the title over these last two events,” added Carter.
