@CenturyOldRacer Out of the 12 cars that raced he was the only full tube chassis fiberglass body car, and was on substantially bigger 33×10.5Ws The rest of us are back halved (or less) street cars on 28×10.5s. Not making excuses but I was at least 600 pounds heaver and I was on a wayyy smaller tire, and he beat me by half a car length. He was running a 14 degree big chief head 565 NA big block chevy, and I have a 500″ NA big block chevy with a old set of highly modified Big chief heads from the 90s when they first came out. I was realing him in, but ran out of real estate
