Chase and Justin were both on track to make a comfortable living, retire early, and enjoy racing their cars for years to come. That is until the passion for racing took over the will to work in a cooperate environment. We were happy to hear their story on how “Street Car Takeover” was started and how it’s grown into what it is today.

Great video and story you guys are killing it got through the tough times. Good message to all of us. I need to start supporting my sprint car track more. Love y’all.
I'm glad y'all did this video. Tons of people look at these guys from the outside and just think they had it made from the beginning. Admitting to being late on things like car and truck payments takes some balls. People don't understand how hard it is to start a business sometimes.
Crazy thing is tracks are shutting down but racing is bigger now then I feel it’s ever been?
Sounds like how clutch kikers came up.. unfortunately they just fizzled out and cancelled all future events.. which sux but they had something huge themselves there for a while but theres not really that big of a scene for comp drifting unless youre driving professionally which those guys are few and far between..
I went to tx2k13 and I remember Chase's Evo with Justin's white Camaro. This was the event that made me learn about these two guys. I remember buying my first 1320 shirt with chase in the booth and telling him how awesome the Evo was. When we came home my Dad had a 90's swb street truck that he had built and I showed him Justin's red dragon and he was so ready to go with us the next year. Unfortunately he passed away before the next go around but these two guys actually hit home with me just from that single event along with being born and raised in Oklahoma. It's been awesome watching them grow over the years and I'm glad they are still here growing! Keep it up guys your doing it.
Who wouldn't leave a mundane job to go drag racing…regardless of the salary.
Was nice seeing cleetus before he was cleetus
Okc is my home town! 2020 street car takeover was the craziest/biggest event to come to Oklahoma !
I remember Friday we were at twin peaks and we have the new helicopter flying over and it was talked about for weeks after the event was over! Love this event🖤
Man what a great story. Thank you for doing what you do because this is exactly what keeps car culture alive and what keeps tracks open. 👏👏👏
Are you coming back to Rockingham ever?
I love when people say the world stopped. I work for the big brown delivery company I was busier then normal working every day
"i really like twin peaks" what he really means is "i really like big boobies" LOL twin peaks is a great spot though
boy that Malibu at 32:00 minute mark really set this video off! Congrats SCT guys, events are always a blast and you guys kill it every year.
01:17 Wow Cleetus looks young in that photo.
I love seeing young Cleet in those flashbacks! 👶🦒
Props to you Kyle hiring great people that are inspired to leave and go start there own thing!!!
Man… 1320 has started some wild careers!!!
They missed the part where chase killed a guy
Ok pause. Please call it the 405 track… it’s not the OKC track. ❤
I hope one day yall come out to Nola Motorsports
Seattle…..our local track is a joke, lucky they still get a nhra stop in the summer. Road coarse is a dangerous archaic layout that most guys won't even use anymore. Motorsports really weak in the northwest.
Cleetus McFarland lost twin brother?
Can't wait to see street car takeover at Maple Grove raceway this year
