There are many drag races in the world, but when it’s all said and done, there’s only one Indy, short for the NHRA U.S. Nationals. Few have been able to capture the beauty and prestige of the traditional pilgrimage to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis until now.

When i was a kid I used to dream about going to Indy for the Nationals. As an adult, have missed 2 since 1983. I do not beleive I have ever seen a bad Indy, other than the horror of '96. Best ones were Big's three consecutive wins and Ashley's 3, and the Cruz vs Spurlock and Eddie Hill vs Connie at almost midnight in the middle of a huge fogbank.
