For the second year in a row, Kate and I shot down to Mid-Michigan Motorplex for the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race – this year we watched a ton of racing, and I brought a different camera that seems to have done pretty well with the racing video (no stabilzation though, so a little bumpy). I flew the drone a little bit, but kate was getting bored of that, so we didn’t fly long.

Awesome as Always, Doc!
Wearing that Burger Barge shirt proud!
Missed you at the sandbar this year. You were strolling through my area (Dayton) the week we were on Torch.
love seeing old muscle cars race as stock
Thanks for getting over to it! I couldn't make it and really really really wanted to go! Buddy of mine raced his car this year.
Nice video quality. Which camera were you using for the walk in the pits ?
Thanks Kate (and dad) as a long time participant we appreciate any additional coverage. Great video.. However Kate missed my race. Hope to see you next year
Great video! Best camera work from the stands I’ve seen.
Remember seeing the black 71 Duster, red interior at MCACN 2015. I am sure it has been there since. Runs VERY well!
Thanks for the video, these were the cars that were in the parking lot when I was in high school. Now I'm retired and working on the car I wanted when I was 16, a '73 Mach 1 Mustang. Would love to go to this event!
The "best of 3" racing gets a bit boring. Wish they would just mix it up more.
They are such cool cars from the 50s,60s&70s, the colors, the sound, & power!!!
Back in the seventys my dad used to race there!
My dad use to race with a1967 dark blue mustang, 1969 yellow super bee and a 1972 gold mach 1!
Thanks so much for the great footage! It's amazing to think about the value of these "original" cars all in one place. Take a look at what these cars are selling for now compared to 10 or 20 years ago. I bought my '69 Dart in '96 and restored it soon afterward, and there's no way I could afford to buy and restore the same car now. I feel very fortunate to have bought my car when I did and I'm guessing lots of the owners at that event feel the same way.
