AMAZING MODEL RAILROADS! A brief history of our YouTube channel including a look at several of America’s most amazing model railroads.
We were invited to be guest speakers at the annual Southwest Region NMRA convention, this year held in Flagstaff Arizona. And so we opted to make a video with several bits from the over 800 videos we have made over the ten-plus years the channel has existed, starting with racing Fords in Southern California to visiting several amazing layouts and a few random hobbies like full contact jousting and restoring antique aircraft.
I was the guest speaker at this convention eight years ago and mentioned that if everything in your life is going right, be prepared to turn left. It may be by choice, or it may fall on ya like a load of hay. These are moments that define our lives, and alter, often for the better, the direction of our lives.
The pivotal event in our lives was a car show and event, The Rat Fink Reunion in Manti Utah in 2014. And that was a change in direction in our lives together. Anyway, watch the show and story!

Dale: It shows when a door is shut a window opens! Your story proves it. You are a man of many talents. Many should look you to you and your body of work. You are never boring, however I know more about the Great Salt Lake and resorts that use to be there. (Just kidding). BTW: I own a 2007 Mustang GT with a 4.2 L V8, and a 5 speed manual transmission. Best thing Ford did with the Falcon platform.
I loved hearing your history and seeing some awesome train layouts. WOW
So glad you and Karyn found each other because you 2 BLESS us twice a week with great shows, storys and adventures.
GOD BLESS ππππππππ
Virtual dating? Stranger things have been known to happen.
So thats how you met!!! Great show!!!! Mustangs, trains, and how about a Ford Tri-Motor??? Just for the heck of it!
π±π±ππ Great that the NMRA had you and Karyn as presenter's. You both did a great job… as usual!

Fantastic review of your really swell collection of "screwing around" experiences. Thanks!
Great!!!!! Love you guys
Clearly they don't know how DCC works. We have pulled trains just as heavy and long with every locomotive being powered with mid train power and end train power. We didn't have any problems at all.
A good time was had by all! π
I'm a loyal fan to "Toy Man" – loved this episode!
Why is the coaling tower enclosed? Would be nice to see it operate!
Hi you two, I always enjoy your shows.Everything you present is interesting and fun. I wish I could have been there to meet you in person. This retrospective of your lives, shows and adventures was fun, interesting and entertaining. However, I noticed one thing, your shirts didn't match. LOL. Thank you both for sharing your lives with your loyal followers.
