Today’s job was building a pad for 10’x14′ shed. I stripped the grass and topsoil off and hauled it away using the International then went got 8.5 tons of base rock. These jobs are why I keep the International, I was able to drive it thru the gate and get the rock right to the pad. I leveled it out, wet it down then tracked it in. So now he will have a nice level pad when the shed arrives. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #shedpad

That was a quick one, easy to edit. Good job Brandon. Its those little ones that seem to pay the best in the long run.
Youβre right about that Bermuda grass. I have a path between my garden and the shop. During the dormant season it gets packed into the mud and dries like asphalt…. but come Spring, it bounces back like it was never driven over. For areas around the garden and flower beds… I hate Bermuda… but for spaces like this, it canβt be beat!
Without the toy truck, youβd been screwed (or cleaning up a big mess) on that job!
Good work, feller.
Were you up towards Springfield last week? Pretty sure I saw you headed west around Mount Vernon.
Perfect set up for that job Brandon! Long live the single axle π
You always do nice work Brandon. Thanks for the video.
Does your International seem like a quick steering sportscar now? Automatic transmissions can be relaxing, no need to plan shifts or fear traffic, just drive.
Thank you for another one. I see Erin let you borrow her truck! You weren't' banging your foot on the floor feeling for the clutch were you? Good to see that truck – it's a keeper and don't even take up all that much room. Sonny (CT)
Those quick and easy jobs are pretty nice every now and then I bet. Start to finish, all done in time to get home and still have time to mow the yard! Nice video ππ»
Stay healthy.
Nice, I'm going to be doing the same thing next week for a small 7 by 7 shed in my years. I won't have an excavator though.
I had our old farm planted in loblolly pines for timber. The state of NC paid for most of it and then it kept the land in farm use. They are about 17-18 years old now. Nice job on the little pad. Definitely gotta keep the little dump for jobs just like this. Take care hope your all are well.
Great job Brandon. See the 4 40 air going.
Great job
Aww dang it, I thought you would have tail gated the rock into the excavation. Just kidding, great job and have a good night
All we need with that bucket next is rotating head next on the listπ
Dream business!!
Hi Brandon!!ππ
Those are always nice little jobs when you can knock them out in a short day.
Take care my friend and stay safe and healthy!!ππβ€β€
No sense using the big truck when the baby dump truck can do the job. Great video Brandon.
Nice video bro πππ§π§
Nice working meet
Something about digging and stone i like, good job, i can dig it!
That shovel and rake work that some may think unnecessary likely gets you a lot of work, nice job pardner
Hi Brandon nice to see the little old International truck having a day out.
I like the TRUCK CAM!
First thing I thought, is that the little International hiding behind the mini! I noticed that you broke out the garden hose to wet the gravel to get it compacted, I've noticed in several of your videos that the gravel in your area is always super dry but you're always working in mud. It's basically just the opposite here in Idaho but even though our gravel has moisture in it we still have to water it down to get good compaction for doing any kind of major infrastructure like highways, building pads, etc… Great video Brandon!
Brandon – when you first dumped the rock I thought for sure you had too much and would be pulling some out, but it was the perfect amount. Nice job.
You got right tools for the job. Retired 75, I need a little bigger mini, kubota k008-3, it works. Love keeping mini in shop. Got a 12' dump trailer. You need Topcon H4C Laser, LS B110W Receiver and B110W blue tooth in cab display. Just use Magnet mounts for receiver, display, no power needed.
Very good video π
Great video. ππ
Hey! Why orange marking spray?? Where is the box with PINK marking spray that Mrs. Elite bought???
Nice clean job I agree skid-steer would of made a mess. Good choice
When I saw that pile of rocks coming off the dump truck I thought that will never fit in there, but it did. Or did you secretly put a few scoops back in the dump truck off cam? π
i like that little dump truck
turned out nice and i bet u like driving the ole truck again
Cool video! Very nice job
Great video nice to see your little dump truck
π! You wouldn't want to drive 10 1/2 hrs to bring the International and Mini Ex to Western Kansas to prep for an above ground pool, would you? Couldn't talk Frank into driving up from Mulhall either!
that's a bread and butter project right there! appreciate it! I'm glad I've got yours and other guys videos to watch, halfway through the cancer treatments and I woke up no voice today! Y'all stay safe, Keith
Nice. I built a shed pad a couple years ago for a lady and have another one coming up soon. Always a fun change of pace.
good work. how level is the pad? within an inch or?
On a job like this, what do you charge $$??, hourly??
What's the cost for one truck load gravel like that?
Great Video…
I've got a similar job to do, we're also buying a 10×14 shed. Except we're gonna do everything by hand, the way we did things back in the day. I've got 2 strong boys. I'm gonna put them to work. Instead of them watching a guy driving an excavator and filming for their Instagram feeds, they will be whining, complaining, sweating, and wielding old fashion hand tools (pick axes, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc…).
