1320 Angry bee 392 scatpack or widebody 392 scatpack in 2019? Which 392 scatpack would you buy if you were on the market for a new challenger? The 1320 is a special trim level in the Dodge line up, it comes with a 392 6.4L v8 Hemi that produces around 485hp. The widebody Scatpack is also now available which begs the question, which is the better option. The 1320 has much of the Dodge Demon & hellcat redeye technology, minus the supercharged 6.2L Supercharged hemi.

The 1320 scatpack isn't like every other scatpack here's some more features : 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 w/o seat (avail for $1) 114lbs lighter, 3.09 diff, demon sourced half shafts, trans brake, torque reserve, line lock, launch control w launch assist, 20 x 9.5” wheels, factory drag radials & adaptive damping suspension.
Dodge should truly throw up the middle finger and introduce a 2020 Drag Pak V6 widebody edition. Call it the GT666 or GT660 (1/8 mile). Badge it with a black Pentagram with a red 6 in the center, and the V outline lined in bold. Supercharger with some Demon goodies….including light weight fat 18 wheels, and a curb weight under 3600…LET'S GO!
Bruh…bruh, couple vids behind,: side marker/hemi. I like you got rid of the 345, was never a huge fan, dig the new one. Why not get the classic " charger" script and put it on the side too. I love all the 2019's, but still: buy a used Hellcat! Thats my plan, until then happy with the 2014 RT Challenger super track pack, 6 speed manual with drag radials and couple other mods run-in high 12's at the strip all day long and twice on Sunday. Your channel is the shchiznit, I look forward to the posts, nice quality, great content, keep it coming and if you smell a tasty delicious crispy smell coming from your tail pipes, thats just a little ..sh shake and bake !
11.7 idk
9.65 like the demon I dont think anyone will run that
Can’t stop thinking of that baby Demon. Real good chance I’m gonna get a 1320. I was already looking at custom plates for the 1320.🤤🤤
I'd say hold off on both and see how much the hellcats depreciate first. I'm sure challenger hellcats will be mid to high 40s.
Widebody for me. The drag pack is awesome but its not my flavor. Ill probably never drag race my challenger. And the drag pack cant get a stick. For my money, ill take the style of the widebody.
Widebody scatpack anytime👌🏼. Fits 5 people. And it could be a daily drive.
How do u feel about it not being in manual tho?
I would just wait. I think that people should know by now that what ever dodge is advertising add .5 secs to the time and that is really what you will be running 99% of the time. We still have to wait until cooler weather to see if anyone can get the time that they said you could get with the Dodge Demon.
Both are great options but for me it has to be a manual trans so for that reason I'd take the wide body scat pack.
Dodge keeping enticing me with all these nice packages the problem is which one would I get😂
Great times for Dodge! That 1320 is awesome! A very interesting car,and the PRICE! 😵 How could one go wrong?
'Cuda and Road Runner WTFRU!!! Plymouth RIP
Definitely would make your. Channel interesting
Great video as always my brother
Already have a 17 challenger RT the wifey drives. I love my 392 charger more. Waiting for the updates to the new charger, then I'll be interested.
Hey RT life, you
I just stumbled on your Channel and like it very much!!! I'm looking at the 1320 because of your video, thank you very much… Not sure about buying a used Hellcat or a brand new 1320. Anyway, I'm glad I found a channel looking forward to watching the other videos.
200th like and got a lot of catching up to do after being grounded for 7 days straight.
If somebody gave me a wide body, i would try to get it to a body shop and hope nobody recognizes me and have the cheap looking add on flares removed, makes the car look stupid , shame on dodge
I wonder how hard it would be to turn that wide body into the 1320? It’s a wide body for me all the way!
I love my 2014 RT with flowmaster 40s and resonator delete (thank you for the advice RT life) but while at dodge last week getting my oil changed I saw the widebody scatpack and OMG I was bout to be upside down in payments lol. It's a beauty in person and I've been dreaming secretly about it, even over the 2017 hellcat. I was seriously considering trading mines in hahahaha
More of the same i dont care for challenger, dodge that is enough! Me want charger news that is the backbone of mopar, and the charger name is the best in business
Its BS that they made the scat pack better than the SRT392… and it's cheaper total BS
How come ford has the 2019 lineup that you can build your car, but Dodge doesn't yet bro ?
Let’s go flawless boutique
I’m hearing other channels referring to you I knew your channel was going to grow, definitely one of my favorites great content keep grinding adding me to your subs.
Arent both bee's angry
Or widebody 1320 with demon hood
proceeds to insert lenny face
I just bought a Scat PAC wide body and just love it, my previous car was a 2015 scat pack with the 6 sp nice car also but not as fast as this widebody it doesn't handle the same feels like a totally different car.
Btw, how long has this 2019 line-up you mention been out? There web site, imo, sucks. The colors suck and it wasn't until very recently you could even click on 2019…unless there's another, better web site that I don't know about!
First time I watch your channel I love it. how much $$$ to be allowed to comment and suscribe? Lol
i would say:“wide body scat pack!!!”
I bought a ‘16 Scat Pack in late 2015. I have a 1320 on order which is about to go into production at FCA Brampton. I got the 1320 because I wanted certain options I didn’t get in 2015. It has the aluminum Hellcat hood, lightweight wheels and 275s all around. The Nexen SUR4G is an established time attack/autocross tire and I don’t think that calling it “drag spec” will change those qualities; with the adaptive suspension and the 6.4L engine’s power curve, it will be a capable sport touring car. It has the adaptive suspension, with a mode SRT tuned for drag racing. It has the Demon’s suspension and drivetrain aft of the transmission, and the three mode suspension can be set for touring while retaining the drag race features when wanted. It has the transmission brake and line lock. The one I ordered includes the Technology Group (adaptive cruise/automatic wipers/automatic high beams/forward collision warning), Convenience Group, 1320 Plus Package, sunroof, navigation, and Harmon-Kardon stereo, because it’s mostly going to be a daily driver. I don’t like the look of the Widebody, I don’t like the 305mm tires, and I wanted the alcantara steering wheel. Bonus: Yes, I like the Angry Bee too. And further bonus: Dodge brought back Sublime, which wasn’t available on the early ‘16 models. So it’s like my current car, which I’ve enjoyed for four years, but with more that I didn’t have access to then. That’s “why 1320.”
What does the upgraded adaptive suspension system do? Will it contribute to a stiffer harder riding car on the street? Or will it make the ride more comfortable especially on real world roads that are not smooth and full of pot holes.
I went widebody scatpack, got a good deal, love the setup, 1320 is sweet but I spend more time on the street then strip. While shopping around I found good prices on 2018 hellcats that didn't sell.
It's a hard decision for sure. If I wanted a six speed if have to go for the scat pack but automatic I couldn't justify picking the scat over the 1320. What you get in the 1320 is just so good
I have a 1320 Scat Pack. I wish it was available in a wide body though. 🙂 I got a killer deal on it.
I just bought the wide body
I like the 1320.. nice package.. well designed and for the money.. like the line lock and I believe it has the transbrake as well.. plus it's a track car like the demon. Break it at the track n they stand behind it.. like the demon.. nice
I think the widebody scatpack for me and might just add a supercharger or NOS.
I am still waiting to see what Dodge doing for the 2020 50th anniversary Challenger before I pull a trigger on a challenge.
Any news yet on 2020 Challengers?
I posted a video of one of these on my channel shopping for hellcat near the end when I was in the showroom
Drove a Widebody on Friday, bought a 1320 on Saturday. The Widebody was very "heavy" in every aspect (steering, acceleration, etc.) compared to the 1320. It was still fast, but felt like you needed more grunt to get it to move. The 1320 is quick and surprisingly nimble with the drag radials. It can get you sideways pretty easy in the turns, so be careful. 1320 gets my money and my vote.
I would love to have a 1320 for sure
I got it when it came at the 1320
Got the 1320 with suede like seats with back seats and front seat put in and 9 speaker stereo. A lot more rare than just about any other version and I like that
