The U.S. Nationals are officially in the books, Yellow Bullet was absolutely WILD, and somehow we’ve made it home in one piece.
Barely.
This week on The Wes Buck Show, we’re recapping one hell of a week in drag racing with three dudes who were right in the middle of it.
First up, J.R. Gray.
Reigning NHRA Pro Mod World Champion.
And now…
U.S. NATIONALS CHAMPION.
J.R. rolled into the biggest drag race on the planet, qualified No. 2, fought his way through a loaded Pro Mod field, and took down Justin Bond in the final with a 5.701 at 252 mph to grab his first Indy Wally.
Winning Pro Mod races is hard.
Winning Indy is different.
We’re gonna talk about the weekend, what that Diamond Wally means, and what’s next as J.R. keeps swinging in the Road to the Championship.
Then we’ve got Fletcher Cox, fresh off taking care of business at Yellow Bullet Nationals.
Super Bowl champion.
Pro Mod madman.
And now he’s adding another big-ass drag racing trophy to the collection.
Fletcher and the boys went to war at one of the wildest races on the calendar and came home on top. We’ll get the whole story, talk about the weekend, and probably find out what kind of ridiculous horsepower he’s planning to throw money at next.
And rounding this thing out, Tony Wilson joins us after a BIG showing at Indy.
Tony rolled into the U.S. Nationals with that badass Willys and qualified No. 3 in an absolutely stacked NHRA Pro Mod field with a 5.710 at nearly 250 mph.
At Indy.
Against THAT field.
Yeah, that’ll play.
We’ll talk about the weekend, the progress this team continues to make, and what Tony has cooking next.
