Drag Illustrated and Jerry Bickel Race Cars have teamed up to deliver one of the most significant performance-based incentive programs in the history of Pro Modified drag racing, announcing today the launch of the JBRC No. 1 Qualifier Bonus and Jerry Bickel Clean Sweep Challenge for the 2025-26 Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service. The program designates Jerry Bickel Race Cars as the official qualifying partner of the Winter Series Pro Mod championship and introduces a level of reward and recognition previously unseen in the sport.
As part of the initiative, JBRC will award $5,000 to the No. 1 qualifier at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals, $7,500 at the U.S. Street Nationals, and $10,000 at the World Series of Pro Mod – a total of $22,500 in qualifying bonuses across the three events.
The headline feature of the program, the Jerry Bickel Clean Sweep Challenge, offers an unprecedented prize: if a driver earns the No. 1 qualifying position in Pro Mod at all three Winter Series events, that racer will receive a brand-new Jerry Bickel Race Cars Pro Mod rolling chassis, estimated at more than $200,000.
“This is a massive opportunity and a huge incentive for our racers, and we couldn’t be more excited about it,” said Drag Illustrated Founder & Editorial Director Wes Buck. “Dangling this kind of cash out there for these guys and gals is already huge, but adding the Jerry Bickel Race Cars Clean Sweep Challenge to the program is absolutely over the top. For a racer to have the chance to win a brand-new world-class rolling chassis? That’s one helluva motivator to swing for the fences this winter, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see someone pull it off and be heading to Moscow Mills, Missouri, next year to get the ball rolling on a new hot rod.”
Buck added, “There has never been a Pro Mod environment like the Drag Illustrated Winter Series. Bringing aboard a partner like JBRC – a company that builds a massive percentage of the cars you see in this show – moves the needle in every possible way.”
Rick Hord, owner of Jerry Bickel Race Cars, echoed that excitement. “I don’t think we’ve ever seen the kind of interest and excitement in Pro Mod racing that we’re seeing today,” Hord said. “The Winter Series has become the center of gravity for the class – the energy, the car count, the level of competition. We wanted to put together something over the top to match that environment and show our support for the racers who keep our shop busy building cars and our parts department busy throughout the year.”
Hord continued, “We’re proud to partner with Drag Illustrated and Bradenton Motorsports Park to help push this movement forward. These racers are the best in the world, and if someone can go out there and qualify No. 1 at all three races, that’s an unbelievable accomplishment. That deserves a big reward, and we’re excited to be the ones putting it on the table.”
The Clean Sweep Challenge will follow every qualifying session across the Winter Series, which includes the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals on December 4-7, 2025, the U.S. Street Nationals on January 22-25, 2026, and the World Series of Pro Mod on February 26-28, 2026, all at Bradenton Motorsports Park. With more than 90 Pro Mod entries expected for the upcoming season, and with world-class rolling chassis routinely exceeding $200,000, the JBRC program represents one of the most ambitious and valuable qualifying incentives ever established.
As the Winter Series continues building momentum through major investments like the Elite Motorsports Million and now the JBRC No. 1 Qualifier Bonus and Jerry Bickel Clean Sweep Challenge, competitors will enter the winter with more on the line than ever before – and a new reason to chase perfection under the lights in Bradenton.Tickets and VIP packages for all three events are available now at https://bit.ly/3LvZ4DR
