The Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, taking place Dec. 11-13, 2025, in Indianapolis, is accelerating opportunities for the next generation of motorsports professionals through a dynamic lineup of student-focused programs. From education tracks and networking events to hands-on competitions, the PRI Show is delivering experiences that connect students with industry leaders and career pathways while showcasing the strength and economic impact of the motorsports industry.

Strategic Commitment to Future Talent

“These programs reflect PRI’s long-term strategy to strengthen the motorsports ecosystem by investing in education and workforce development,” said PRI President Michael Good. “By creating meaningful connections between students and industry leaders, we’re ensuring the future of racing remains innovative and sustainable.”

Empowering Students Through Education

PRI’s Next-Gen Education Track, taking place Friday, Dec. 12, is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in motorsports and related industries. Highlights include:

  • What Today’s Employers Are Looking For – Industry experts share insights on the skills and qualities that make candidates stand out in today’s competitive job market.
  • Gear Up Girl Lunch, Powered by SEMA Businesswomen’s Network – A networking event celebrating women in motorsports, fostering mentorship and career development.

These sessions complement PRI’s broader education program, which features more than 50 seminars on technical performance, marketing strategies, and business development.

Students and educators will kick off Friday, Dec. 12, with the PRI Student Program Industry Networking Breakfast from 7:45 – 9:00 a.m. in the Sagamore Ballroom. This event offers direct access to industry representatives and exhibiting companies, enabling students to explore diverse career paths and build valuable connections.

Hot Rodders of Tomorrow National Championship

Returning as a show highlight, the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow (HROT) National Championship runs Dec. 10-13. High school teams from across the country will compete in a timed engine teardown and rebuild challenge, showcasing technical skills and teamwork. This program has awarded millions in scholarships since its inception and continues to inspire students to pursue careers in motorsports and performance engineering.

Unprecedented Industry Support

The 2025 PRI Show is on track to be one of the largest in the past two decades. More than 1,000 exhibitors are confirmed to participate, including over 100 first-time exhibitors, underscoring the Show’s continued momentum and influence. This response reflects the commitment to PRI as the premier destination for motorsports professionals to connect, innovate, and drive business forward.

“The PRI Show is where the industry comes together to inspire and empower,” said PRI Show Director Karin Davidson. “Students will leave with new knowledge, valuable connections, and a clear view of the possibilities ahead.”

Driving Innovation and Economic Strength

Motorsports generates $69.2 billion annually for the U.S. economy and supports more than 318,000 jobs, according to PRI’s Motorsports Economic Impact Study. The PRI Show accelerates this momentum by bringing together the brightest minds and breakthrough technologies, creating an environment where collaboration sparks innovation and strengthens the industry’s economic foundation.
