Photo Review: 2025 IHRA Pro Mod Nationals

If it wasn’t before, the State of Michigan must now be one of Randy Weatherford’s favorite places. Just 7 days ago, he won the Pro Boost Category at the PDRA Northern Nationals in Martin. This Saturday, he took home a whopping $125,000 by winning the IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals at Darana Raceway – Milan. The event also featured Mountain Motor Pro Stocks, Top Sportsman, and a 64-car bracket race that paid $10,000 on Friday & Saturday.

Mike Savoia led top sportsman qualifying at 4.03 – 182.48.

Dillon Voss singled in the Mountain Motor Pro Stock final when John Montecalvo was timed out on the line.

Part of Weatherford’s domination was the number one qualifying spot at 3.607 – 210.67.

The $10,000 to win 64-car Top Bulb Shootout for Saturday was won by Howard Michael.

Brandon Pesz had a rough weekend. Up on two wheels on this pass, then a blown engine on another.

Justin Sowders took home the top sportsman win over Mike Badia.

Robin Roberts was actually .003 quicker than Weatherford in this semis, but he lit the red bulb.

Kallie Mills’ 3.604 couldn’t catch Weatherford’s 3.601 in the pro mod final.

Dwayne Rice led the Mountain Motor Pro Stock qualifying at 4.08.

Kara Jo Brank took home the $10,000 for Friday’s Top Bulb Shootout.
