The 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series resumes this weekend with the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After winning last weekend\u2019s NHRA Arizona Nationals, the 2013 NHRA Top Fuel champion is playing in today\u2019s Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Global Credit Union Official Pro-Am prior to this weekend\u2019s Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass. The tournament is set for Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass, located adjacent to Firebird Motorsports Park, the site of last weekend\u2019s race.<\/p>\n<p>Langon and three additional amateurs were paired with two different LPGA TOUR professional golfers during his 18-hole pro-am round, including California native Lucy Li. The professional golfers each played nine holes. World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda leads a stacked LPGA TOUR field in this week\u2019s tournament that includes 19 of the top-20 golfers in the world, 30 major champions and 51 Olympians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019ll be a good time, and I\u2019m excited to play,\u201d Langdon said. \u201cI don\u2019t get to play as much golf as I used to, so it\u2019ll be interesting; I just hope I can keep it in the fairway \u2013 maybe our pro players will give me some pointers. I\u2019ve never played in a pro-am before so I don\u2019t really know what to expect, but I\u2019m sure just the experience of it will probably be the best part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, prior to the NHRA Arizona Nationals, LPGA golfers Li and Ryann O\u2019Toole joined NHRA drivers Jasmine Salinas and Maddi Gordon for some runs down the race track, and then the drivers joined the golfers at Whirlwind Golf Club for chipping and putting.<\/p>\n<p>Langdon and his fellow amateurs were paired with their LPGA Tour professionals during last night\u2019s Pro-Am Pairings Party. Langdon\u2019s Pro-Am experience will be available through the Team Kalitta and NHRA social media channels and featured in this weekend\u2019s NHRA on FOX Broadcasts from Pomona, Calif. Like most LPGA TOUR events, this tournament will be televised on Golf Channel.
