Coast Packing Co. race team owner Eric Gustafson has confirmed that longtime driver and tuner Jason Lee will not be competing at the upcoming U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission due to a lingering health issue. A world-championship caliber talent in doorslammer drag racing, Lee and his family continue to pursue a resolution, but the team has opted to sideline the screw-blown Camaro until Lee makes a full recovery.<\/p>\n

In Lee\u2019s absence, Coast Packing team driver Cam Hensley will continue to wheel the team\u2019s ProCharged \u201969 Camaro.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re serious about drag racing, but we\u2019re more serious about our people, their health and well being, so we\u2019re definitely focusing our energy on Jason feeling better,\u201d said Gustafson. \u201cWe appreciate all the support we receive from fans and our fellow racers, so we wanted to make sure we communicated clearly why Jason wasn\u2019t racing this weekend. We\u2019re looking forward to getting him feeling better and back out to the track as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
