As the PRI Show buzzed with excitement, we had the chance to sit down with NHRA Top Fuel driver Josh Hart. <\/p>\n

Known for his dedication on and off the track, Hart opened up about the challenges he faced last season and his plans for a comeback in 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorst season in my career,\u201d Hart admitted when asked about 2024. \u201cIt was pretty rough. We had used up all of our stuff that we were comfortable with, and we had to start replacing things with new items. The learning curve was just something we couldn\u2019t get our hands on soon enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Hart, the struggle wasn\u2019t just about performance\u2014it was about managing the countless variables that have to align perfectly in the high-stakes world of drag racing. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard. You have so many things that have to go right in order for success,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Despite the tough season, Hart remains optimistic. \u201cIt\u2019s a delicate balance. You\u2019re very grateful for your crew and everybody that works on the car. We just have to focus and do better.\u201d<\/p>\n

One significant change for Hart\u2019s team is the shift from a hybrid crew\u2014a mix of full-time and fly-in team members\u2014to a more permanent and dedicated group. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve added more brainpower by bringing in Jason McCullouch<\/a>, so we\u2019re extremely blessed in that department. The parts situation has also caught up, so we\u2019re going into 2025 with a clear perspective and ready to see what happens,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hart also shared exciting news about his team\u2019s sponsors. \u201cWe\u2019re very proud of our relationship with R&L Carriers. TechNet\u2019s on for at least one more year, and we are adding Snap-on this year<\/a>,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re super blessed to be aligned with companies that we believe in and use in my day-to-day business, which is Bernie\u2019s Speed Shop.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hart\u2019s family plays an integral role in his racing career. \u201cIf I couldn\u2019t have them there, I probably wouldn\u2019t do it anymore,\u201d he said. Hart shared a heartwarming story about watching his five-year-old daughter perform a solo at her dance recital the night before. \u201cYou realize that life is not about you anymore. It\u2019s about them.\u201d<\/p>\n

His daughter\u2019s presence at the track has become a cherished aspect of his racing life. \u201cDrag racing is a family, and I\u2019m proud to have my family be a part of it,\u201d he said. When asked about her stealing the spotlight, Hart laughed. \u201cTotally good with it. I\u2019ll drive the car, hopefully, win the races, and then she can do the interviews. I\u2019m good with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a refreshed team, strong partnerships, and his family by his side, Josh Hart is ready to tackle 2025 with renewed determination. As he puts it, \u201cWe\u2019re extremely blessed, and we\u2019re ready to see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
