Fans submitted nominations for the awards, resulting in a field of 400 entries. Hoosier narrowed the field to 25 finalists. Winners were selected by a fan, media and industry vote with more than 13,000 votes cast, Hoosier Racing Tire said.<\/p>\n
While honoring active racers, Hoosier also recognizes a Hoosier Hero Legend in addition to the annual 12-member class. Awarded annually in conjunction with the Hero program, the Legend honors a member of the racing community who has left an incredible mark in motorsports.<\/p>\n
Scott Bloomquist, who passed away earlier this year, was selected as the 2025 Hoosier Hero Legend. Bloomquist\u2019s impact on the sport was undeniable. He inspired countless racers with his innovative spirit and commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance. Scott\u2019s daughter, Ariel Bloomquist, was on hand to accept the award on behalf of her father.<\/p>\n
