Hailey\u2019s Army for Children, Inc. exists to protect children and defend their future through relentless online safety advocacy and prevention training that reflect the realities of today\u2019s digital world.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organization is named in honor of Hailey Paige Buzbee, a 17-year-old from Fishers, Indiana, who went missing in January 2026 and was tragically found deceased. Through training, education, advocacy, and community engagement, Hailey\u2019s Army for Children, Inc. works to give parents, children, and communities the knowledge and tools they need to keep kids safe. For three-time U.S. Nationals Funny Car winner the opportunity to support this cause was an easy decision.\u201cI\u2019m truly honored and proud to be a part of Hailey\u2019s Army for Children,\u201d said Pedregon, a two-time Funny Car champion and father. \u201cAs a father myself, supporting a cause that helps children and families hits close to home. Anytime we can use our platform to make a difference and give back, it means a lot to me. I am proud to stand alongside Hailey\u2019s Army and everyone working to make a difference in the lives of children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the NHRA U.S. Nationals Hailey\u2019s Army for Children will have a booth at the Cruz Pedregon Racing Open House on Thursday night, September 3, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. where they will be passing out pink wristbands and additional information on how to support Hailey\u2019s Law. Throughout the race weekend Pedregon\u2019s race team will run a special Hailey\u2019s Army for Children decal on their 12,000-horsepower nitro Funny Car and other NHRA teams will also support the cause. Additionally, a specially designed motorcycle will be on display Sunday, September 6, beside the Cruz Pedregon Racing pit area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur family continues to be incredibly grateful for Cruz Pedregon Racing and their continued support,\u201d said Beau Buzbee, Hailey\u2019s father.\u00a0\u201cTheir team has been a tremendous source of encouragement as we honor our daughter Hailey and her kindness by protecting children and fighting to ensure they have the safe and happy childhoods they deserve. They understand the urgency of this mission and the speed at which we must move to better protect our children. They understand that we cannot afford to wait when it comes to their safety and their futures.<br \/>We are truly thankful to have Cruz Pedregon Racing standing alongside our family and Hailey\u2019s Army for Children, Inc. as we work to make a real difference for children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the cause at the biggest NHRA national event of the season during the 75th anniversary season shows the team\u2019s commitment to supporting an important cause. Family members and key representatives from Hailey\u2019s Army for Children will be at the race as guests of Cruz Pedregon Racing on Sunday during the race.
