Drag racing Hall-Of-Famer Kenny Youngblood will be in attendance at the 2026 NHRA U.S.
\nNationals, in conjunction with a very special project \u2013 his involvement with Paul Lee Racing,
\nand a Youngblood-designed tribute wrap honoring one of drag racing\u2019s superstars.
\n\u201cI\u2019m grateful to Paul for calling on me, with help from digital designer Greg Flowers, to create
\nthis tribute wrap \u2013 the fans are really going to love it! The best part is that it\u2019s a way for both
\nPaul and myself to say thank you to a drag racing legend who not only defined the sport in the
\n70s, but who helped us both in our careers,\u201d says Youngblood, who was inducted into the Drag
\nRacing Hall of Fame by \u201cBig Daddy\u201d Don Garlits in 2014.
\nKenny will not only be unveiling the iconic tribute, but signing and personalizing a limited
\nnumber of \u2018Blood Did It CARtoons\u2019 for fans in attendance at this 75 th Anniversary event.
\nYoungblood\u2019s career spans more than five decades, beginning in the late 60\u2019s, when his artistic
\nabilities combined with his love of motorsports set the standard for how race cars should look.
\nKenny\u2019s association with Lee also spans many years, as Paul called on Youngblood to design
\nthe graphics for his first funny car. \u201cThis is going to be an emotional moment for me \u2013 this
\ntribute wrap has exceeded my expectations,\u201d says Paul, who will be competing at the event in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.<\/p>\n
Fans are invited to stop by the Heritage display area at the U.S. Nationals to meet both Paul
\nand Kenny, and get an autographed drawing.<\/p>\n
