All nitro cars qualify Friday night and then compete through three rounds of racing on Saturday. The dragsters and Funny Cars run two rounds to determine a champion of each class; then the Top Fuel champion races the Funny Car champion to determine \u201cThe King of Nitro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve been there,\u201d Kalitta said. \u201cYou hear about it every year, and to be part of it this year, I\u2019m pretty excited. It\u2019ll be fun; it\u2019s been going on for almost 50 years, and Bill Bader (Jr.) does a hell of a job. They have a lot of money on the line, so we\u2019re hoping to be in that race against the Funny Car and do whatever it takes to win that money. It\u2019s a great facility and it\u2019s close to home so we\u2019ll go and have some fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kalitta enters this weekend\u2019s race after sweeping the NHRA\u2019s western swing; he is currently second in NHRA Top Fuel points now trailing the points leader, his teammate Shawn Langdon, by just five points with two races remaining in the regular season. He\u00a0has three wins (Charlotte, Sonoma, Seattle), four runners-up, three semifinals and three No. 1 qualifiers this season.For the first time in the history of the event, it will be live streamed on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.floracing.com\/signup?redirect=%2Flive%2F255424&amp;utm_campaign=783575nightunderfire&amp;utm_medium=partner&amp;utm_source=multiple&amp;utm_content=signup&amp;contract_id=006px00000uqavwya5&amp;coverage_id=16048203&amp;sp=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FloRacing<\/a>.
