Three-time Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) Pro Mod champion and series founder\u00a0Keith Haney\u00a0has revealed his latest creation: the\u00a0\u201cBlack Widow\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 a brand-new Jerry Bickel Race Cars-built 2025 C7 Corvette featuring the first-ever Cynergy Composites redesigned C7 body. The new hot rod is already turning heads in the pits and online, and Haney plans to begin testing soon with the goal of debuting the car at the\u00a0World Series of Pro Mod\u00a0as part of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service.<\/p>\n

Haney, known for his booming personality, quick wit, and over-the-top confidence, says the\u00a0\u201cBlack Widow\u201d\u00a0marks the next evolution of his racing program \u2013 but he\u2019s not rushing its first appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all the buzz created from the announcement of my involvement with KB Titan Racing and our new Pro Mod division, on the heels of a huge week at SEMA in Las Vegas, it just felt like the perfect time to roll out the newest member of our fleet \u2013 \u2018Black Widow\u2019 \u2013 and let the world know we\u2019ve got our sights set on shocking the world in Bradenton during the Drag Illustrated Winter Series,\u201d said Haney. \u201cThis is a bad, bad hot rod, and we\u2019re coming to make some noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for when fans will actually see\u00a0Black Widow<\/em>\u00a0hit the track, Haney says the plan is clear \u2013 but flexible.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to open the season with \u2018Black Mamba\u2019 at the Snowbirds, no question,\u201d Haney said. \u201cThat car\u2019s a proven piece, and we\u2019re coming in ready to fight. The goal is to have \u2018Black Widow\u2019 ready as soon as testing says we\u2019re ready. Maybe we bring it out for U.S. Street Nationals if everything comes together early. But really, we\u2019ve got our eyes on the World Series of Pro Mod. That\u2019s the one. That\u2019s where I want to roll this thing out and make a statement.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Black Widow<\/em>\u00a0continues Haney\u2019s long-standing tradition of naming his cars \u2013 something he believes adds energy, identity, and fan connection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always believed cars should have names \u2013 they need personalities,\u201d Haney added. \u201cWhen you name a car, people remember it. They connect with it. We stirred the pot the last few years with \u2018Black Mamba,\u2019 and now \u2018Black Widow\u2019 is here to keep things stirred up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Built by\u00a0Jerry Bickel Race Cars\u00a0and wrapped in bold new Cynergy carbon fiber, the Corvette represents a significant new chapter for Haney Racing. The car also features contributions from Kryptonite Kustomz, Brandon Switzer and Switzer Dynamics, and Pat Musi Racing Engines.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe team at Bickel, Kryptonite Kustomz, Brandon Switzer and his crew at Switzer Dynamics, Pat and Liz at Musi, and my team that goes racing with me every weekend \u2013 everybody came together to build me a world-class hot rod,\u201d Haney said. \u201cAs excited as I am about the car, I\u2019m even more excited to see what we can do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Haney, who finished fourth in the 2025 MWDRS Pro Mod standings, continues solidifying his place as one of the sport\u2019s most influential doorslammer drivers and promoters. In addition to his three MWDRS championships, he co-owns Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park and Tulsa Speedway with Todd Martin and is actively partnering with\u00a0KB Titan Racing\u00a0to help launch their new Pro Mod division in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cPro Mod is in my DNA,\u201d Haney said. \u201cBetween what we\u2019re building at KB Titan Racing and everything happening right now in Pro Mod drag racing, this next chapter is about pushing the class forward \u2013 innovating, elevating, and keeping the excitement through the roof.\u201d<\/p>\n

Haney will open the\u00a0Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service\u00a0in his familiar\u00a0Black Mamba\u00a0Camaro at the\u00a0Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks, December 5-7. Depending on early testing, the\u00a0\u201cBlack Widow\u201d\u00a0Corvette could make an appearance as soon as the\u00a0U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission, but the target is the\u00a02026 World Series of Pro Mod.<\/p>\n
