<\/p>\nKB Titan Racing was unshaken and victorious this weekend at the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals, taking the second race of six in the 2025 Countdown to the Championship by storm as they swept the event and claimed their 12th trophy of the season. Dallas Glenn, who has led the points since Seattle, blasted to the pole and followed his win at Maple Grove Raceway last weekend with a triumph at home.

\u201cI knew I had a fantastic car coming in, so I really just wanted to try to keep momentum,\u201d said RAD Torque Systems Pro Stock pilot Glenn, who now leads the points by 79 marks. \u201c[But] you look at the ladder for Sunday and you\u2019re like, oh, this is going to be a tough day. You just try to bring your A-game and stay focused.\u201d

It may not be favored by the traditional racer, but the unique four-wide format creates an incredibly quick-paced Sunday with abounding twists and turns. Hot off the brutal bedlam that ensued at the NHRA Reading Nationals last week \u2013 aptly taking place at the racetrack known as the \u201cHouse of Chaos\u201d \u2013 the theme continued right into Charlotte.

Strong qualifying brought KB Titan Racing the top six starting positions, and raceday followed suit. Five of the seven KBT-powered cars advanced from the first round, including Matt Hartford and his Hose Connection\/Total Seal Chevrolet, which clocked low elapsed time of the entire event with his 6.522-second pass. Points positions in the middle of the top 10 were ruffled as KB Titan\u2019s Eric Latino drove his GESi Chevrolet to a strong 6.544 that was second-quickest in his quad but didn\u2019t make the cut due to a bit of a delayed start.

In true testament to the testiness of the playoffs, the tiniest bump in his program sent well-heeled Latino into a dramatic drop; he fell from No. 3 in the Pro Stock points to No. 7. Hartford moved up to No. 4, and with victory in their own quads, KB Titan teammates Cory Reed and Cody Coughlin moved up to fifth and sixth, respectively.

Glenn and KB Titan Racing\u2019s Greg Anderson, who have been neck-and-neck all season long, each won their first-round quads with undeniable horsepower that has been on display all season long. Anderson\u2019s 6.534 in his HendrickCars.com entry was best in his battle, and Glenn\u2019s 6.540 was best of his four-pack.

Only four drivers would advance from the second round to reach the final, and in the end, it was Anderson and Glenn each earning the honor, while Erica Enders and Aaron Stanfield claimed the remaining two spots.

A spectacularly quick turnaround spurred the energy, and four of the most notable drivers in the class came to the starting line for what Anderson would call a \u201cBattle Royale.\u201d Stanfield and Enders had both made up some ground in the standings, and the two KB Titan Racing drivers knew that at this second race of the Countdown, it was imperative to keep their competitors at bay. Glenn launched first with a .016-second reaction time, and Anderson wasn\u2019t far behind with a .031. Stanfield was sandwiched between with a .022 reaction, with Enders right there as well clocking a .032.

Soon though, Stanfield rattled the tires. Enders was doing her best to make hay, but at the final stripe it was Glenn with the win light and Anderson right behind for another 1-2 finish for the KB Titan Racing team. The powerful conclusion to their home event \u2013 KB Titan Racing is based just down the road in Mooresville \u2013 marked the 10th time this season that a pair of KBT cars ended the day with first- and second-place. Glenn\u2019s victorious 6.554 was paired with top speed of the meet, a 209.95 mph blast, and Anderson\u2019s 6.562, 209.01 got the job done.

\u201cI feel like I have a little bit more of an edge over everybody else this year than I did last year, and honestly, I was probably driving better last year,\u201d admitted Glenn. \u201cBut I feel more relaxed, and I\u2019m not nearly as worried about points \u2013 even though I\u2019m still following them and doing all the math in my head. I\u2019m not really stressed or worried or anxious. It was good having a fantastic season all the way through and not really struggling at any point; now I\u2019m just keeping the wave going, trying to not make any mistakes, make good, clean runs, and trying to crush the tree. As long as everything keeps falling together, that\u2019s what I\u2019m going to keep trying to do.\u201d \u00a0

Six-time and reigning world champion Anderson, who has five wins in seven final rounds on the season, is pleased with the team\u2019s playoff performance thus far.

\u201cDallas is off to a fantastic start, and I\u2019m off to a good start,\u201d said 111-time Pro Stock winner Anderson, the most winning driver in the history of the class. \u201cThe good news is that a KB Titan car is leading. We\u2019re still one-and-two leaving here, and we\u2019ve still got a little bit of a cushion. Obviously, we want to win every race, and that\u2019s probably what it\u2019s going to take in these playoffs. The other team is close right now, and they\u2019re capable of winning. It was a very close day all around, but we\u2019re pretty proud that we held them off again and got the one-two. Dallas is going to be hard to catch, but I\u2019m not giving up, and I\u2019m going to continue to do what I do. These races can flip in an instant, and you have to keep trying.

\u201cIt would have been a dagger to our hearts to cough up the lead we came here with, but we didn\u2019t do that. There\u2019s a long way to go, but we\u2019re still on schedule. We have to continue putting the pressure on and executing. But my hat is off to Dallas. He\u2019s racing error-free right now, and he\u2019s going to be a helluva handful to catch. He\u2019s a good friend and a good kid, and if I can\u2019t find a way to catch him, I\u2019ll still be the happiest guy in the room outside of Dallas Glenn when we go to that awards ceremony at the end of the year.\u201d
