After another memorable weekend in the Midwest, PDRA series director Tyler Crossnoe took a moment to reflect on the incredible success of the\u00a02025 PDRA Northern Nationals\u00a0at\u00a0U.S. 131 Motorsports Park\u00a0in Martin, Michigan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were so many storylines on and off track, I cannot even begin to describe them all,\u201d Crossnoe shared in a post-event recap, still buzzing from a packed house, wild side-by-side racing, and unforgettable moments shared with racing royalty.<\/p>\n

From the jump, the Northern Nationals delivered. A\u00a0massive crowd of fired-up Michigan race fans\u00a0poured into the historic U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, cheering loudly through every round of qualifying and eliminations. Crossnoe noted the electric energy in the stands, crediting the\u00a0Peterson family and the entire U.S. 131 crew\u00a0for creating an ideal environment for racers and fans alike.<\/p>\n

\u201cA packed house of smiling, happy, and eager race fans that cheered on their picks all day long,\u201d Crossnoe said. \u201cThat was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. You could feel how much it meant to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event also featured a special guest appearance by\u00a0John Bandimere Jr., the legendary promoter behind Bandimere Speedway, who was on site to ride shotgun in Larry Dixon\u2019s Nitro x2 two-seat Top Fuel Dragster experience. \u201cGetting to interview John Bandimere and see him suit up for a run down the track was surreal,\u201d Crossnoe added. \u201cSeeing the entire Bandimere family was a great surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the on-track action brought no shortage of drama \u2013 including Amber Franklin-Denton\u2019s emotional first Pro Nitrous win and Randy Weatherford\u2019s return to the winner\u2019s circle in Pro Boost \u2013 Crossnoe made a point to highlight the team effort behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

He expressed deep gratitude to his longtime friend and PDRA announcer\u00a0Scotty Gore, as well as photo talents\u00a0Gary Rowe\u00a0and\u00a0Capri Wesley, who captured the sights and spirit of the event from every angle.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope you all had as much fun this weekend as we did,\u201d Crossnoe wrote. \u201cThe racing was incredible, the stories were endless, and the vibes were unmatched. Can\u2019t wait to do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n
