Coming off a top qualifying effort and semifinal finish in Norwalk, Pedregon is eyeing a big weekend at Pacific Raceways as the 2024 season hits its halfway mark.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeattle marks the midway point of our race season, and it couldn\u2019t come at a better time,\u201d said Pedregon. \u201cOur Snap-on\u00ae \u2018Own It\u2019 Dodge\u00ae Hellcat\u00ae is starting to hit its stride. We\u2019re making strong, consistent runs and building momentum.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"659\" src=\"https:\/\/dragillustrated.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/CruzPedregon-OwnItPaintScheme2025_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-86460\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>This weekend will mark a return to one of Pedregon\u2019s favorite parts of the tour. With Pacific Raceways under new ownership and recent upgrades to the facility, the event has a fresh buzz surrounding it \u2013 including a fan-favorite Friday night qualifying session under the lights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve scheduled a late Friday night session, which means cooler air, big header flames, and a show the fans won\u2019t forget,\u201d said Pedregon. \u201cWe\u2019d love to be one of the cars that sets the pace that night for the debut of this year\u2019s new \u2018Own It\u2019 paint scheme on the Snap-on Dodge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That paint scheme carries more weight than just good looks. It\u2019s a nod to the Snap-on franchisees Cruz interacts with throughout the season \u2013 many of whom join him in the pit for meet-and-greets and race weekend hospitality. One of those franchisees will be right at home this weekend.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1733\" src=\"https:\/\/dragillustrated.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/CruzPedregon-OwnItPaintScheme2025_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-86461\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Featured prominently on the side of Cruz\u2019s Dodge Hellcat is\u00a0<strong>Snap-on Nitro Franchisee Kevin Hamer<\/strong>, a local Pacific Northwest tool man and a regular in the region\u2019s grudge racing scene. Though this weekend will be Cruz and Kevin\u2019s first time meeting in person, Hamer\u2019s story fits perfectly into the theme of the \u201cOwn It\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKevin got into the business because the Snap-on franchisee who called on his shop encouraged him to do exactly what the car says \u2013 own it,\u201d Pedregon explained. \u201cNow he\u2019s been with Snap-on for over a decade, and we\u2019re pumped to have him out here with us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pedregon and Hamer are expected to link up after Friday night qualifying for dinner in the pit \u2013 where the conversation will no doubt revolve around tools, tuning, and the shared love of racing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeattle, really all of the West Coast races, feels like home to me,\u201d said Pedregon, who grew up in Southern California. \u201cThe Pacific Northwest provides great atmospheric conditions for big performance, and the fans here are some of the best.
