Hey, Hey, Hay! Last Saturday we decided to take our 1969 Pontiac GTO with a 535 CI Pontiac Engine to a somewhat local (1.5 hours away) no prep race at Willsey\u2019s Outlaw Dragstrip near Sallisaw Oklahoma. Car count was pretty low for a \u201cBig\u201d Race which makes me pretty sad about the future of Drag Racing. The weather was great, the track was dry, and the parking was good! The Racers in attendance were \u201cBallers\u201d other than a couple of us but I have never been concerned about those types of Stat\u2019s because in Racing anyone can have their day! The GTO sounded healthy and spirit\u2019s were high but as we know anything can happen!<\/p>\n
