Sixteen-year-old Tyler claimed his first \u201cbig car\u201d win in his Top Sportsman debut, while his father, Aaron, powered his newly repainted \u201cBullitt\u201d Mustang to the Pro Mod win after overcoming mechanical issues in qualifying.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/dragillustrated.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Pennington-Family-Top-Dragster-Junior-Pro-and-Sportsman-winners-Kati-Laughter-TD-2nd.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-84510\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Pennington Family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Pennington family added three more trophies to the family legacy, taking wins in Top Dragster and sweeping both Junior Dragster categories. Keith Youngblood, driving for Wade Pennington, secured the Icon Forged Pistons Top Dragster victory, while Karlee and Jovee Brundidge claimed wins in Pro and Sportsman Junior Dragsters.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/dragillustrated.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Aaron-Wells-Pro-Mod-Winner.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-84503\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In Stroud Safety Pro Mod presented by Larry Jeffers Race Cars, Aaron Wells defeated Jacob McNeal\u2019s Scott Palmer-tuned Barracuda with a 3.619-second pass in the final round.
