  1. I really do not care how they tune their cars or if they run out of gas. I do care about safety. I need the sport to create some rivalries that will continue to put fans in the seats. Johnson vs Scott we knew there was bad blood so we picked one and rode with them.

  2. Yeah but the NHRA isn’t gonna let them out there with lives at risk by doing a long staging duel the three minute rule for staging duels has existed for as long as I’ve raced and I’ve seen a lot of double DQ’s in my day I’ve seen fans cheer for a double DQ cause they wanna see cars going down the track not cars sitting there pre stage for 5-6 minutes till the motor either melts down or the leak fluids on the track wreck and kill them selves you guys have never been to an NHRA drivers meeting the three minute rule is stated at every drivers meeting before the race https://youtu.be/4v0PXZ5eWg4 I could find quite a few more examples of double DQ’s over staging duels it’s quite common it’s just you guys had never seen it before you might wanna watch this whole video https://youtu.be/zGxVNQ4uWbUb Wes at 17 mins in they talk about a staging duel double DQ and why why do you think any time there’s an NHRA staging duel they start a timer and let the starter know the time that because the three minute rule if that didn’t exist there would be no reason to time a staging duel think about it use your brain you know that lump about 3 foot above you butt
