With the 2025 Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock season quickly approaching, Voss Motorsports and Dillon Voss are proud to announce their 2025 plans and partners. Voss will run the full eight-race NHRA MMPS schedule driving the Voss-powered “Bad Banana” ’05 Cavalier with backing from primary sponsors Voss Wheelie Bars and Coble Enterprises and associate sponsors LIQUI MOLY, Scorpion Racing Products, and James Carter Attorney at Law.
“I’m proud of how hard our team worked over the offseason to get us to the racetrack,” said Dillon Voss, who made his first 2025 appearance in the third annual Mountain Motor Pro Stock Invitational during the World Series of Pro Mod. “It takes a lot of effort to compete at this level, but we’re confident we’ve put in that work and we’re ready to compete with the best of the best in the NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock category. I’m looking forward to running some full quarter-mile racing this year.”
Voss Wheelie Bars, the family’s brand of carbon fiber wheelie bars, will once again ride along on the doors of the Voss Motorsports ’05 Cavalier. Crew chief Cory Voss builds the wheelie bars in-house and attends races throughout the season to provide customer support and R&D for racers competing in Mountain Motor Pro Stock, Pro Mod, and several other fast doorslammer classes.
“We’re excited to get back out there with the ‘Bad Banana,’” Cory Voss said. “We’ve been spending lots of hours in the shop over the winter trying to find more horsepower and make the car perform better. But as any racer knows, some of the best R&D happens on the racetrack, so I’m looking forward to hitting the track in a few weeks when the NHRA MMPS season kicks off at the Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway.”
The team welcomed Coble Enterprises on board as the co-primary sponsor for the 2025 season. Based in Sarasota, Florida, Coble Enterprises specializes in real estate investment and property management. President and owner Sherri Coble is an avid motorsports fan who sponsors numerous NASCAR drivers and teams.
“Sherri Coble has been in motorsports for quite a few years on the NASCAR and ARCA series, and we are excited to show her and Coble Enterprises around the dragstrip and NHRA races for 2025,” Cory Voss said.
LIQUI MOLY, which offers more than 4,000 motor oils, additives, and car care products, signed on for its third consecutive season as a Voss Motorsports associate sponsor.
“Voss Motorsports is excited to continue flying the LIQUI MOLY flag in 2025,” Cory Voss said. “We use only LIQUI MOLY oils and lubricants in all of our race cars and transporter.”
Finally, Voss Motorsports has teamed up with another Florida-based company, Scorpion Racing Products, as an associate sponsor. Scorpion’s rocker arms and other valvetrain components are produced in Ocala, Florida. Scorpion endeavors to provide customers with the best quality products at the most competitive prices. A rigorous R&D process is utilized to test products for quality and durability under the most intense conditions.
“Scorpion and Voss will do extensive valvetrain and rocker arm developments on the Spintron,” said Cory Voss, who also thanked associate sponsor James Carter Attorney at Law. “It’s always exciting to work with other companies that believe in extensive R&D in constant pursuit of improvement.”
Voss Motorsports will kick off the Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock season at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, April 25-27, at zMAX Dragway in Concord, N.C.
