The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) has named Leah Martin as President, where she will oversee the organization’s operations across its various motorsports disciplines and support ongoing efforts to establish consistent structure and strategy within the sanctioning body.
Martin’s background includes leadership roles in national nonprofit organizations, along with her work as Executive Director of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, one of the largest powerboating events in the world. She has been involved with IHRA’s internal development in recent months, contributing to operational alignment and organizational planning.
In her new role, Martin will work alongside IHRA CEO Darryl Cuttell and the association’s department leads to refine processes, strengthen event operations, and support the continued development of IHRA’s motorsports programs.
“I’m committed to advancing the International Hot Rod Association with a racer-first mindset and a clear vision for long-term growth,” Martin said. “My focus is on fostering collaboration, strengthening operations, and building a foundation that carries the IHRA forward.”
Cuttell added, “Leah brings strong organizational and strategic experience to the position. Her leadership approach and business sense make her a solid fit for the direction we’re taking IHRA.”
The IHRA continues to develop its multi-discipline platform and refine its leadership structure as it prepares for the 2026 season and beyond.
