Lamborghini Huracan STO vs AMG GT Black Series!

The Shmeemobiles are back out for a drag race, and this time it’s two of the big hitters! We have my new Lamborghini Huracan STO up against my AMG GT Black Series. Both are limited edition, track focused, hardcore beasts designed for the race track but this time around we have them on the 1/4 mile strip down a runway.

The Lamborghini Huracan STO has a 640hp 5.2l NA V10, with the power going to the rear wheels through a 7 speed dual clutch. However, the AMG GT Black Series, while also with a 7spd DCT, has 850hp from the modified 4.0l TT V8 thanks to some upgrades and a small tune by Opus over the standard 730hp.

It’s not all about power though, the STO runs the standard road compound Bridgestone Potenza Sport, whereas the GT BS is on the very tricky Michelin Cup 2 R that truly needs heat in order to generate grip. With cold temperatures, a slightly damp runway, and a lot of unknowns, these races could go either way!

With three races head to head, joined by Christian from BOTB to pilot the Huracan STO while I take the wheel of the GT Black Series, let’s see how they actually shape up… prepare to be surprised!
