  1. True he was doing fine with Fords. I think that Austin Coil had so much influence with John, if Austin didn't leave, John would not
be having these problems. Austin left. That was his decision and he has earned it. John has been in touch with Austin during these latest
problems he has been having. I say, temporarily ask Austin to come back for a short time to get the problem solved.
I think Austin Coil was a top rate crew chief.

  2. Last week they traced the problem to main bearing failure ( they called it "blacked the bearing"). It's a good bet they will start the diagnosis there.

  3. You can only push so far. Simple physics, but immutable. And stop saying its John's fault. Its not his fault when the tuning is in someone else's control. Every driver is pushing their vehicle just as fast as they can, each and every time and most, if not all, have had engines detonate on them. You're playing with liquid dynamite, for crying out loud, people. Its as close to rocket propulsion science as you can get.

  4. Taco Bell and g forces, pushes the gas out into the cab, then probably a bed plug wire and kapowww! Methane explosion…💨💨💨💨😵

  5. its a great marketing move, keep blowing up. It makes its rounds and even makes it to some main stream news. Great strategy for Team Force.

  6. Blower ejection caused by hung intake valve. Right bank but you can't see which cylinder dropped out because the body is in the way. Once that exploding charge comes back up the into the intake it's a quick bomb. No way to stop it.

  7. I have to admit that I stopped watching the NHRA years ago when it became The Force Family Follies. Surprised they didn't show the rest of the family hugging it out after this blowout.

  8. He has had lots of problems since he started using Chevrolet engines. Watching how fast they rebuild those engines makes one wonder if errors were made building the engines.
