"FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD" vs Yacht | New Zealand Race | Top Gear

Jeremy and James head to New Zealand to take part in a race from the Coromandel Peninsula to the northern tip of the North Island. James had to cover 220 miles (350 km) in the America’s Cup yacht Oracle, whilst Jeremy had a much longer 410 miles (660 km). The Oracle’s crew was made up of James, Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben Ainslie and several America’s Cup winners. Jeremy’s Auris is a rental, thus “the fastest car in the world”, and he has little regard for its safety… Taken from Episode 1, Series 20.

  1. Top Gear – One of the most entertaining programmes ever made and the BBC threw it away because of an 'incident'. The Irish 'producer' who got a slap got £100,000 and the BBC lost the goose that laid their golden egg – untold millions of lost revenue in worldwide syndication. The beginning of the end of the much-loved BBC.

  2. Kind of to waged thoughts on this just because of the cape being a wahi tapu and all and it feels a bit disrespectful

  3. Even when you fall of a sail boat like that during a real race, you’ll have lifeboats around so I’d think that would be sick even if you fell off and got left behind unless you got knocked out by the poles from the boat or something crazy like that

  4. 7:51 This, is the look of a man who went through so much OMG 😆 He looks like he went through a war, or through a washing machine cycle Hahaha. The look in his eyes when he sees the colour.

  5. I was searching for one of these when Jeremy lost, and when he FINALLY loses James is too tired to enjoy his victory 😂😂
