Building a small shop pad so a metal building can be placed on it. I had to dig out a 22’x26′ area that was mostly topsoil and pile it to the side. Then I hauled in 4 loads of clay to build the pad back up. Now I need to come back and dig footings for the concrete guys and haul a load of rock in. Then take the topsoil and grade out around the build when it’s installed. I also piled out some post along the edge of the porch. The main part of this video I want to focus on is congratulating SkidSteerDrew (Drew Gardner) because he is making the leap to self employment! Drew lives in Alabama and has a similar business to mine that has been he side deal for the last 5 years. He works full time for the City and has been doing he’s side jobs evenings and weekends. He owns an International single axle dump, a Takeuchi TL250 loader and Takeuchi TB260 excavator, he’s really the Elite Earthworks Alabama Division lol! He does a fair amount of mulching and brush cutting with both his machines. I would like everyone to go over to his channel and give him some words of encouragement. This is a huge step and I can tell he is very excited about it and a lot of us are excited for him. I know he would be happy to hear from everyone. Thanks for watching and I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #SkidSteerDrew
